We hear from a lot of our clients that they want to hire the best and the brightest from Google and Facebook, but it turns out it’s not that easy (huge surprise). We recently wrote a post about the talent war among Silicon Valley’s tech giants… but there’s another player involved who has way more money to throw at top talent – they’re called Venture Capitalists.

Yep, the biggest challenge in closing a top candidate is not pulling them away from sushi chefs and free massages, or even outbidding a competitor – it’s convincing them to join you vs START THEIR OWN COMPANY!
